Dua E Taraweeh in Urdu

Dua-e-Taraweeh refers to the supplication or prayer recited during the Taraweeh prayers performed in the month of Ramadan. Taraweeh is a special night prayer that Muslims offer after the Isha prayer during the holy month of Ramadan.

While there is no specific prescribed dua (supplication) that must be recited during Taraweeh, Muslims may engage in various forms of dhikr (remembrance of Allah) and make personal supplications during the prayer. Some common dua (supplications) that Muslims may recite during Taraweeh include:

1. Dua for Seeking Forgiveness: “Astaghfirullahal-‘Adheemal-ladhi la ilaha illa Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyum wa atubu ilaih.” Translation: “I seek forgiveness from Allah, the Mighty, the Living, the Sustainer of existence, and I repent to Him.”
2. Dua for Mercy: “Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa’fu ‘anni.” Translation: “O Allah, You are the Forgiver, and You love forgiveness. So forgive me.”
3. Dua for Guidance: “Rabbanaa hab lanaa min azwaajinaa wa dhurriyaatinaa qurrata ‘ayniin waj’alnaa lil-muttaqeena imaama.” Translation: “Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous.”
4. Dua for Protection: “Allahumma innaa nas’aluka min khayri ma sa’alaka minhu nabiyyuka Muhammadun sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam, wa na’oodhu bika min sharri ma ‘aadaka minhu nabiyyuka Muhammadun sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam.” Translation: “O Allah, we ask You for the good that Your Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) asked of You, and we seek refuge in You from the evil from which Your Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) sought refuge.”

These are just a few examples, and Muslims may also recite other supplications based on personal preference or use supplications mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah. It’s important to note that the Taraweeh prayer itself is the primary focus, and the recitation of dua during this prayer is a means of seeking closeness to Allah and seeking His blessings and mercy.
