Because Google has acquired feedburner since June 1, 2007, google moved the application of feedburner to hardware, software and data center of google. This month, exactly February 28, 2009, google has decided to move feedburner to google.

If you don’t move your feedburner Account to Google account until the time determined as of February 28, 2009, your feedburner account will not be available anymore. Therefore, willy-nilly, you must move your feedburner account to Google account.

To move feedburner account to Google account is very easy, below are the steps:

  1. Login to feedburner with your ID:
  2. When you are in your account, you will get the announcement “Hey! We are moving Feedburner accounts to Google. Learn more or Move your account now”. Just click "Move your account now”.
  3. Choose Google account you use
  4. Click "Move feeds"
  5. Wait while the moving-process in progress or you can close the browser or browse another site.
  6. If the process finished, there will be the words “Success! We have successfully moved your feeds from Feedburner account into your Google account
  7. Done

The above steps can be done if you login, there is an announcement “Hey! We are moving Feedburner accounts to Google. Learn more or Move your account now ", if it doesn’t appear, do the steps as follow:

  1. Follow this link: https://feedburner.google.com/migration/start.action?hl=en,

  3. Login with Google account you want to use
  4. Then login form will appear, please login with your feedburner Username and password.

  5. Click Next to continue, and moving process will do

  6. If the process has finished, you will see the words as follow:

  7. Done. Your feedburner account has moved to Google account

When you have succeeded moving your feedburner account to Google account, your old feedburner account will not be available anymore.

What if something error when you move your feedburner account and the process undone? This is it. Kang Rohman has two feedburner accounts, one is successful and the other is error with the message as follow:

The following feed URIs are already in use

After Kang Rohman has investigated, The feedburner has known or detected the error that can be found and read at:

http://feedburnerstatus.blogspot.com/2009/01/error-feed-uris-are-already-in-use.html

Below is the quote of the content of the post:

Error: When migrating, some users will receive an error saying, "Feed URIs are already in use."

Causes: Various.

Resolution: We will be posting our resolution for this as soon as possible. For now, if you receive this error, please wait until we update this post with our resolution.

Unfortunately, up to now, feedburner has not updated the resolution of this error. Or maybe you have known the solution? Let me know. For those who have experienced the problem in moving the account, you had better read the posts on feedburner blog above, perhaps you will find the answers.

For further about moving feedburner account to Google account, you can read the question and answer at the address below:

If your feedburner account has moved to Google account, the address of your blog feeds will be like this: http://feeds2.feedburner.com, and you should update the buttons and email subscription on your blog. How about the widget of News & Update and widget of Installing News & Update Widget under post that I have posted previously? You can still use the widget, but you should change the address with the new one. I hope Kang Rohman can discuss it next time.
