Ingredients:
- 1 cup Corn kernels (fresh or canned)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons cornmeal
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, cornmeal, Parmesan cheese, egg, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Try to mix the corn grains together well
- In a large saucepan, heat about 1 inch of oil over medium heat until hot.
- Using a tablespoon or small cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil.
- Fry the Fritters until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Using a slotted spoon, transfer the fritters to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
