Cheesy Corn Fritters recipe



Ingredients:


  • 1 cup Corn kernels (fresh or canned)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons cornmeal
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Oil for frying


Instructions:


  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, cornmeal, Parmesan cheese, egg, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Try to mix the corn grains together well
  3. In a large saucepan, heat about 1 inch of oil over medium heat until hot.
  4. Using a tablespoon or small cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil.
  5. Fry the Fritters until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the fritters to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
