Cairo: The Arab Administrative Development Organisation (ARADO) General Assembly re-elected the UAE to its Executive Council for 2024-2026. This decision was made during the 58th ordinary meeting in Cairo, attended by Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Government Development and The Future, and President of the Federal Authority for Human Resources.
The re-election underscores ARADO’s commitment to sustainable administrative development in the Arab world. The Executive Council plays a vital role in shaping policies and strategies towards this objective.
During the 117th ordinary meeting of ARADO’s Executive Council in Cairo, discussions focused on enhancing human capital development in Arab nations. Participants shared challenges, solutions, and best practices in human resources management and empowerment among member states.
The UAE delegation, led by Al Roumi, included Laila Obaid Al Suwaidi, Director-General of the Federal Authority for Human Resources, and Ibrahim Fikri, Executive Director of the Support Services Sector.
Al Roumi emphasized the UAE’s dedication to shaping the future of Arab governmental administration. She highlighted the importance of building human capital and equipping them with future skills to enhance the readiness of Arab governments for the future and keep pace with global developments.
