Dubai: The UAE recently introduced a unified Work Bundle, a one-stop platform designed to simplify visa procedures for hiring and renewing employees across all Companies.

This innovative platform combines the processes of five federal and local authorities into a single interface. Dr. Abdulrahman Awar, the Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, emphasized that this initiative aims to eliminate bureaucratic hurdles, thereby fostering a conducive environment for startups and entrepreneurs.

The announcement was made in the presence of key officials from various authorities, including the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs, Ports Security, Dubai Health, and the Department of Emiratisation. The collaboration among these entities is aimed at streamlining data exchange through unified mechanisms, enhancing efficiency across sectors such as economy, tourism, and digital services.

Details of the new work package were disclosed during a press conference held at the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai. This initiative aims to minimize government red tape and simplify procedures for companies, startup owners, and entrepreneurs.

Initially available on the Invest in Dubai platform, these new services will soon be accessible across all emirates within a few weeks. Companies can leverage this platform to expedite transactions, including payments verified using Emirates ID. This initiative underscores the UAE’s commitment to digital transformation, exemplifying the nation’s rapid progress in embracing modern technologies.

Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, emphasized that this announcement reflects the UAE’s proactive approach to digitalization, aiming to attract more companies to establish their presence in the country.
