Dubai: India’s Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC), the apex organization of exporters of IT and related products has re-appointed renowned business personality Kamal Vachani as the regional director in the Middle East according to a statement issued by the ESC.

Kamal Vachani has been representing the Council in the region since 1999. He is also the Group Director and Partner of the Al Maya Group. “The ESC is very much satisfied with the efforts of Kamal Vachani in
promoting India’s electronics and IT products to the Middle East. Vachani has been actively sponsoring IT delegations’ visits to the region. He also extends his sincere support to Indian companies for participation in trade shows in the region,” said Executive Director of ESC Gurmeet Singh in the statement.

Gurmeet Singh added: “We are confident that your dedicated involvement in export promotion from India would benefit the entire industry and will lead to new trade ventures in the Middle East region.”

There is a significant increase in India’s Electronics hardware and IT services from India to the Middle East in general and UAE in particular informed Kamal Vachani.

“It is indeed a great honor to be associated with a Council like ESC and I am grateful to the ESC for giving this opportunity again, said Mr Kamal Vachani.
