The Dubai Bling star is ready to host a night of pure BLISS with guest appearances from his many famous friends

Dubai: The young DJ started mixing to get invited to the cool kids’ high school parties, but now DJ Bliss, born Marwan Al Awadhi, is set to become the first-ever Emirati DJ to headline a show at Dubai’s home of live entertainment.

The star of the popular Netflix reality TV show, Dubai Bling (the most watched show in the Arab world and the second most watched regional show globally. Dubai Bling is set to return for season 2) will headline his own event on March 19, 2023, at the Coca-Cola Arena. The event will also mark the venue’s first time hosting a headline show by a local DJ.

Excited about the gig, DJ Bliss commented, “I’ve been the opening act for several renowned artists all my life, so when I opened for Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson last year at the Coca-Cola Arena, I looked around and thought, I’m going to make this happen. I will headline my own event. It might not be a big deal to some people but for a kid born and raised in Dubai, to be able to headline a show in my own city, for my own people, it’s a dream come true!”.

DJ Bliss got his first big break in radio and then TV as the host of ‘That’s Entertainment’ on Dubai One, and quickly became the nation’s most in-demand DJ, ultimately setting up his own music and events business, Bliss Inc Entertainment.

The DJ who has performed for many acclaimed artists such as, Drake, Beyonce, Prince, and Nicki Minaj, recently joined forces with rapper Shaggy on hit single ‘Halla Walla’, as well as ‘Yalla Africa’ featuring Uganda’s famous dance group, Triplets Ghetto Kids.
