Payments in this platform are based on the amount of requests you make to the servers and the amount of features you’re using. Also, users have the choice to pay for a single AWS computer, a physical one, or clusters of either these two types.

It offers solutions and flexibility to launch applications from all industries and fields, having services like application hosting, websites, content delivery, database, backup and storage, and the previously mentioned enterprise IT. It’s also secure, flexible, and provides agility and elasticity, what more can someone ask for?

Due to this, AWS has been increasing in popularity, now having data centers in all over the world, including in the US, Europe, Brazil, Singapore, Japan, and Australia. And keeps being at the top for providing reliable, scalable, and low-cost platforms in the cloud which helps maintain businesses all across the globe. Websites like Netflix, Twitch and LinkedIn are run on AWS.

Although this platform is great for those involved in the IT and computing field, and it is widely used in these communities, it can have some disadvantages. The main issue with this platform is that it is related to Amazon, meaning that it can also be related to its controversies and previous issues; due to this some users might have some concerns about using this platform.

In 2011, AWS went through a huge outage in which one of the services offered was having some issues and could not be used fully for two days, in 2012 a memory leak, and this had repercussions on other platforms like Reddit and Pinterest. And most recently, in December 2021, an outage was affecting delivery and streaming services, also some platforms like Ticketmaster, Robinhood Markets, and even the well-known crypto-platform Coinbase.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how you can create your AWS account in three simple steps by using a US virtual number to bypass SMS verification.

Step 1: go to AWS

In your browser search for “Amazon Web Services”. Click on the first link that shows up, that should be the one. As a security measure, make sure the URL is correct and the website looks legit.

Now, to begin creating your account, click on “Create an AWS account”.

Enter your email and username that you’ll be using in the platform, and hit the “Verify Email” button.

AWS should be sending you a verification code to make sure the information provided is real. Go to your email and look for the AWS verification code. Type it on the Amazon Web Services and click on “Verify”.

Enter and confirm the password you’re going to be using on the platform. Once you have a secure password, click on “Continue”.

Now, add all of your contact info, such as names and addresses, but leave the phone number section blank. In the next step, we’ll show you how to get a virtual number for this service.

Step 2: get a temporary number

Go to our website and sign in, or sign up if you don’t have an account. Once you’re in your dashboard make sure the top tab says “United States”, then, head over to the left menu and click on “Services” and then on “Short-term numbers”.

On the search bar located at the right side of the screen, type “Amazon” and click on the blue “Purchase” button under “Amazon Web Services”. Make sure you’re choosing AWS’s number and not the one that only says “Amazon”.

Confirm your purchase and discount off your balance by marking the checkbox, and then clicking on “Next”.

Then, you should be seeing your number displayed on the screen. Copy it and paste it onto the AWS page. After this, click on “Continue”.

Enter your billing information, such as card info and billing addresses, and hit the “Verify and continue” button.

Now, it’s time to verify your number.

Step 3: bypassing SMS verification

You’ll be presented with a small form, enter your virtual number again, complete the security check and choose “SMS” as your form of verification.Then, click on “Send SMS”.

Now, click on “Next” on our page to get your code.

You should be seeing your code shortly after, so enter it on the AWS platform, and click on “Continue”.
