How to bypass SMS verification on Facebook

How to bypass SMS verification on Facebook

Facebook is an online social networking site owned by Meta Platforms. The platform is probably the most known social media website out there, having a staggering 2.8 billion active users by 2020.

Despite its success, this big tech company has been involved in several controversies, most of these revolving around users’ privacy issues, including the repetitive adjustment of their privacy settings and policies.

One of these numerous controversies is worth noting. In September, 2019, the phone numbers of 200 million Facebook users were leaked in a huge data breach. With all these problems, it’s not surprising that some users don’t want to give their phone Number to this company.

But unfortunately, some users will have problems signing up without a phone number. Thankfully, there is a perfect tool for this job: virtual numbers provided by us, with which you can bypass Facebook phone number verification.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to create a Facebook Account and verify one using a virtual number to bypass SMS verification.

It’s worth noting that this guide is made for users residing in the US, but if you’re not in the US and still want to set up your account as if you were, you can use a residential proxy. This way you can connect to web pages of the United States from a residential IP address, just as if you were there.

Create a Facebook account

Step 1: Opening Facebook

If you’re using your smartphone or tablet, Facebook can be accessed by a browser app. On your browser, you can type “Facebook” on the search engine, then click on the first link to enter the site.

Step 2: Sign Up

Once you’re on the right page, you need to sign up. Click on the green button that says “Create New Account”.

Then, a window will appear for you to fill in the blank spaces with your information. Here’s the fun part: for the mobile number section, you’ll need a virtual number.

Step 3: Getting a short-term number

Short-term numbers are those that can be used for one-time verifications – some of them might even be re used. They are the perfect tool to make the Facebook sign up process much easier and safer. If you need to verify your account again, it could be possible for you to re-use your virtual number to do so. However, we strongly recommend you to purchase a long-term number instead, since they always can be re used.

In the case you already have a Facebook account that needs to be verified through an SMS, you can also use short-term numbers for it.

To get these temporary numbers, you’ll need to head over to our website, where you’ll see the ”Sign Up” and the ”Sign In” buttons on the top menu.

If you don’t have an account, go to the Sign Up page, enter your information, and hit the “Sign Up” button. For more information about our website, go watch our main tutorial.

If you already have an account, go to the ”Sign In” page and enter your Log In information.

Once you sign in, make sure you select “United States” on the top tab that says “Select Country”. Then, go to the “Services” tab and click on “Short-term numbers”.

Then, type “Facebook” on the search tab, and click on the blue “Purchase” button.

After that, you’ll need to confirm your purchase by clicking on the checkbox and then on the “Next” button.

After that, you’ll get your virtual number. Click on the “Copy” button. But wait! Don’t close this tab, you’ll need it later.

Step 4: Enter your number

Enter the number you got on Facebook’s sign-up page. After you complete the other fields, hit the green “Sign-Up” button. You’ll be sent to a page where you’ll be asked for more information.

After you click on ‘’Continue’’, enter your number again to verify your account. Then, hit the “Send Login Code” button.

Facebook will send you a verification code. Now, go back to your Major Phones account, where you’ll be able to see the code. On the screen you left before, hit on “Next”. In this tab, just wait to receive the code.

Then you’re ready to go! As a final step, enter the received code on Facebook’s page and wait until your account is successfully verified. You should see something like this:

Congratulations, you have successfully created your account and bypassed the SMS verification process!

Verify your account again

If your account gets blocked or Facebook just need you to confirm your identity, you will have to verify your account again.

Step 1: Go to the verification tab

If you need to verify your account again, Facebook will show you an alert when trying to log in. The greatest part is that you’ll be shown the steps you need to take, but remember, in this process you’ll need to use the number you purchased before. Keep in mind that it may not be re-usable after a while, so it’s better if you use a long-term number to create your Facebook account. In case you don’t have access to it anymore, just purchase another number and verify your account again.

Step 2: Re use your number

To do this, you’ll need to look for your SMS messages on your Major Phones account. On the navigation menu, you’ll see the “Purchases” tab, so click on ‘’Short-term numbers’’ and look for your previously purchased virtual number.

Click on the three dots next to your number, under the ‘’Action’’ column, and then click on “Re use”. Keep in mind that some numbers might not be reusable.

After that, you’ll receive your message with your verification code. Go to your Facebook account and enter it.

And that’s it, you have successfully been able to bypass SMS verification for Facebook using virtual numbers provided by us – and all without compromising your phone number!
