Newsblock is a modern, and engaging newspaper and Magazine Theme with some really special surprises I think you’re gonna want to take a look at. This is a wide-ranging template with loads of different premade designs and though it was released in April 2021, it’s already become one of the most popular themes of the year. It’s a true testament to just how mind blowing the features and how modern the style of this template is.

So, let’s take a deeper look at thrilling features offered here and scandalous and captivating designs. I’m not sure they’re actually scandalous, but that’s a power word and I like using them. They are alluring.

Newsblock is a WooCommerce ready theme, that allows you to sell products or services on your very own online shop. There are both light and dark modes available, something that I have seen a bit more of lately. People are really gravitating toward those dark designs and I feel like for nighttime reading, it really is a better idea.

This theme was built using a novel page building tool. Canvas is the name of it, and it seems to be a very flexible and dynamic page building tool that works similarly to page building tools like Elementor. You can import sections, use custom blocks the developer has provided, add custom widgets and to choose from over 30 different single post layouts to give your website a lot of flexibility and to give you complete control over the look and feel of your website.

Any of the premade designs can be installed with just a couple of clicks. That get your website up running at cheetah speed. Maybe you could win an Olympic gold medal for the 100m WordPress dash?

Probably not.

Deal like typography? Well, you can choose from over 800 different Google fonts, over 1900 Adobe fonts and upload your own custom fonts if you want to. That is truly a level of typography that few themes can rival.

It’s not just fonts that are unlimited, you’ll get unlimited color selections and more. This is a high performance WordPress theme with adaptive images, lazy load, rapid page load times for awesome search engine optimization results, you can create video backgrounds using YouTube, you can automatically load the next post after your reader has gotten to the bottom of things.

You can use the Advanced Authors feature to have guest posts, throw in some advertisements using AdSense and a whole lot more. You know what, this is definitely one of the best magazine WordPress themes ever made and I think I’m done describing it. It’s time for the visuals.

So, let’s take a look at some of the different premade designs that are included with this template. There’s quite a few, I’m not going to spend a ton of time on any of them. Just a hint of what a provide.

Here’s another design called Relevant. Relevant is a minimalist magazine design and it should be noted, that top image, the one with the motorcycle, that’s actually a video. So could be a really interesting way to attract attention to video posts. Using a video thumbnail definitely adds a lot of action to the screen.

The developer calls this design Supernatural. I think they mean Super Natural, meaning quite natural. Not some Mulder and Scully thing. I don’t think organist see any UFOs flying out of this design, though I don’t really know what your content is going to be, may be that’s exactly what you need to make your UFO news website look fantastic? Looks like it might be good for lifestyle blogs.

They call this premade design Champs. Champs is ideal for sports magazines and blogs. What type of sports? Whatever type of sports you want. What are we watching tonight? Well, if you’ve made it this far, you’re watching me blather on about another premade design from the Newsblock template. This one is called Tonight. Tonight is an entertainment magazine design that looks fantastic. It certainly does a great job of spreading the news about what’s on TV tonight. Or, what’s on Spotify.

Here’s Playback. Playback is another entertainment news magazine of template that has a really clean design and it sort of reminds me of another website that I’ve just recently discovered. It’s called Stereogum.  I particularly like the reviews of every number one song to ever hit the hot 100 top spot. I’ve been reading a bunch of them lately I find them to be quite interesting. There’s a lot of other stuff going on thereto, it’s worth checking out.

Here’s one called Motor. It’s about, guess what, automobiles and motorsports. Pretty self-explanatory. Another really clean design that I like.

And finally, here’s one called Tech Rumors. It’s about the high-tech industry and all the news that’s fit to print. Plus, some of the news that’s not really fit to print. It depends on what you want to write about I suppose. There’s no shame in creating fluff that nobody cares about. I mean, what am I doing here?

And that’ll just about do it for the News block WordPress theme. It’s got so much going on, this one is definitely worth a second glance. It’s proven to be popular, people really seem to like what the developer has created, and they do a really outstanding job of backing it up with awesome support and some cool documentation.
