Apply today. We are currently seeking a Senior Analytical Chemist to join our Ink Development team in Wood Dale IL. Description: The position is responsible for supporting new product development, ink manufacturing, maintenance of line and ink field escalations through analytical chemistry. In your main role at Videojet, you will: * Carry out research and development using a wide range of analytical instruments such as GC, IC, ICP, GPC, HPLC, FTIR, UV/Vis, Sed. Rate, Particle Size Analyzer. * Perform wet chemistry and calibrations on viscometer, pH, and resistivity meters. * Analyze/interpret data, and report/present results. * Develop new or modify existing analytical methods. * Maintain on time delivery and quality targets for sample analysis. * Accurately record, review, and enter analytical data into LIMS. * Maintain analytical instruments in good condition. * Participate in problem solving to resolve technical issues in NPD, MOL and Escalations. Key Requirements: Education: * B. S. degree in analytical chemistry * M.S. degree in analytical chemistry is preferred. Prior Experiences: * At least 5 years of hands-on industrial experience in an analytical lab. * Hands-on experience on ink formulation analysis is a plus.
