Doctor Who plans to begin filming in the fall, with the goal of airing the next series in 2021. Speaking at the Gallifrey One fan convention, producer Tracy Simpson suggested filming begin on season 13 in September.

The September start date has not been officially set, the doctors expected to return in front of the cameras in the fall of 2020. This would mean that the next series will premiere next year, although again, not An exact broadcast date has been officially confirmed.

We are going to see some delay because of coronavirus:

Chris Chibnall has pushed for dramatic production value for Modern Doctor Who, but unfortunately that means the show is particularly vulnerable to outages, especially during a global epidemic. In a speech to the Royal Television Society in June, the director of BBC Wales confirmed that the program is currently unable to resume filming.
