Here is what we know about Carrie Wampler coming back for the role of Ren in The Goldbergs!

Well, well, well, here is a piece of exciting news for all the people who are in love with the show called The Goldvergs on ABC Network because the character of Ren is going to look quite different to you in the upcoming installment of the show. The news has revealed to media platforms that actress Carrie Wampler is going to play the role of this college pal Erica had in the eighth season in a recast which has replaced Kelli Berglund. This news has been let out by a fellow news media outlet called Deadline.

This particular character of Ren, also known as Loren, was first introduced to us just last season as a friend as well as Erica, the role of whom is reprised by actress Hayley Orrantia. Ren is a friend plus a classmate to Erica and they both happen to study at the University of Philadelphia and then later go on to become a love interest for Barry, the part of whom is done by Tro Gentile.

Why is the character of Ren is getting recast once again?

Berglund played this iconic role for five episodes but now she is compelled to exit the show because of her commitment to something else. The talented actress is now set to star opposite to Stephen Amell from the Arrow as well as actor Alexander Ludwig from the Vikings in the upcoming wrestling drama on Starz called Heelz.

Wampler has been known to the fans back from the fays she used to play the role of Brooke on the hit comedy that goes by the name Austin and Ally and used to air on the Disney Channel. Her other roles include Big Little Lies and 911.
