If Developers decided to upgrade the game then they should provide it free of cost. The recent example of The Witcher 3 will get a next-gen version with Ray Tracing but it will be available for free for the previous years and that’s what gamers like as they don’t have to pay separately for modern versions of the game. So all the remastered versions should be merged in one and will be available for free as the gamers already paid for it. Even this system also introduced in consoles and Witcher did a great job in terms of free upgrade.
