Homeland season 8 is running on Showtime, which will conclude the excellent Showtime show. But is Homeland season 8 going to release on Netflix?
In case you did not know, season 8 of the show is set to conclude the action thriller series, which is arguably long overdue. As with other Showtime show, they typically endure a lot longer than what they would on other network television series.

Homeland is about a CIA operative, played by Claire Danes, working in the field while struggling with her mental health issues. Season 8 of the show will see her travel back to Afghanistan due to her in-depth information of the country to help negotiate peace.
Season 8 of the show once again consists of 12 episodes and is going to release in the US from February 9th, 2020, to April 26th, 2020.
Season 8 Homeland Netflix Release Schedule
Firstly, if you are currently streaming Homeland on Netflix, you will be getting season 8 of the show in due course. These regions include but are not limited to Canada, France, Greece, the Netherlands, Hungary, Australia, Spain, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and Singapore.
If we see how the seasons of the show have released thus far, we think that season 8 would not be on Netflix until early 2021. For example, season 7, which ended up on Showtime in April 2018, did not arrive on Netflix UK until February 2019.
Given the show is closing, however, we may see a more prompt addition of season 8, but we would not know until Netflix publishes it themselves. We are expecting season 8 of the show to release on Netflix in early 2021.
Is Netflix Going To Release Homeland Season 8 In The United States
Apparently not. As we covered in our main show guide to streaming on Netflix, Homeland stays away from Netflix. It’s possible the streaming rights will come up for auction several years after the end airs, but given the show is distributed by the 20th Century, the likelihood is that it will head to Hulu or stick with Showtime rather than coming to Netflix.
