Charlie Cox is finally making his Netflix comeback by starring in the upcoming spy thriller series Treason, which the streaming service is releasing more than four years after Daredevil’s three-season run ended. We now have our first look at Charlie Cox’s character Adam Lawrence in the official Treason trailer for the limited drama. In the video, an inexperienced MI6 agent is picked inadvertently to take over as agency commander after his mentor nearly perished in an attempted assassination. But when the truth about his tangled past—which involved a Russian spy—is revealed, he’ll be drawn into a plot that would paint him as a double agent. Treason, which Matt Charman wrote and executive produced, has been compared to Bodyguard and John Le Carre.   Treason is being executive produced by Foz Allan and Valery Ryan, and it is being directed by Louise Hooper (The Witcher).
