After the success of “Ghostbuster: Afterlife”, Sony Pictures is ramping up for the sequel’s pre-production with the writer and executive producer Gil Kenan. Kenan is also set to direct the sequel. Jason Reitman, who directed “Ghostbuster: Afterlife” is now joining as writer and producer for the sequel. Kenan said, “It’s an honor for me to pick up the proton pack and step behind the camera for the sequel of the Spengler family saga”. he further said ” I wish I can go in time and direct the first “ghostbuster Movie in New York. After the successful re-launching of “Ghostbuster: Afterlife”, Reitman, and Kenan signed a producing deal with Sony Pictures to begin working on the script for the sequel. Production will start in 2023, with casting for some new roles to be added to the movie.
