Mission Impossible 8 is officially in production! The cast and crew all descended on Paris, France over the weekend to start shooting for the latest installment of the Mission Impossible series. Tom Cruise, who plays Ethan Hunt in the movie franchise, was spotted on set looking as dashing as ever. The actor was seen chatting with director Christopher McQuarrie and co-star Rebecca Ferguson. The trio appeared to be in high spirits as they teased the upcoming action sequence.

The story of Mission Impossible 8 is being kept under wraps but Cruise and his team are not pulling any punches with their stunts. The film will take place 20 years after the events of Ghost Protocol with Hunt, who is an insurance investigator, having been framed for terrorism and now on the run from his former CIA colleagues.

This series will be released on 28 June 2024. Also, the series has been announced to have a two-part sequel. Tom Cruise will lead the movie with rebel star Rebecca Ferguson. In this movie, Cruise will be playing Ethan Hunt, an agent of the Impossible Mission Force who has been framed for a terrorist act and is on the run by his former colleagues. 

He is forced to reunite with his team in order to clear his name and bring down a dangerous new enemy. The cast also includes Henry Cavill, Simon Pegg and Angela Bassett.

Ethan and his new team have to race against time after a mission gone wrong. A sinister new organization called The Syndicate threatens the world with violence, espionage, and cyber-attacks. Ethan gathers his team and joins forces with CIA assassin August Walker to bring them down.

Mission Impossible 8 has been officially greenlit by Paramount Pictures. Tom Cruise has also been confirmed for Mission Impossible 8 series, which has been put on fast track for production by Paramount Pictures. Rebecca Ferguson is in talks to reprise her ‘Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation’ role as Ilsa Faust as well.

What can we expect from the new Mission Impossible movie series installment?

We can expect a great storyline and a complex plot. We can expect the new series to showcase great action scenes. Mission Impossible, the first part of the series was released in 1996, and the last movie was released in 2016. Mission Impossible 7 was an excellent movie and it had a great storyline, great action scenes. I can’t wait for Mission Impossible 8 to be released.

How different is this Mission Impossible movie from previous installments of the series?

The main character in the series was named Ethan Hunt but there was another name for him- Ethan Hunt 2, who would also use the name, Ethan Hunt.  The new Mission Impossible movie is not going to have the name of any other character, who has used the name “Ethan”.  It will have a different story than previous movies, with a new Ghost Protocol in place of Ghost Wars.

What do you think about the new trailer of Mission Impossible 8?

Tom Cruise looks absolutely stunning in a three-piece suit, with his hair neatly combed back and a pair of glasses on – he’s no longer the Ethan Hunt we have been used to seeing over the years!  A new character named August Walker is also seen along with Hunt, who seems like he will be playing an important role in this “Mission”. Cruise has definitely upped his game for this movie and that’s what I think makes it so much better!

Will there be any new gadgets or stunts in the new movie that we haven’t seen before?’

There will be a new prosthetic hand and also a new glider suit. The old gadgets like taser guns, wrist watches, etc. will also be used as per earlier movies. We have seen everything in this movie already.

Will there be any characters or actors coming into the story?

The main character has not changed and the other characters have not changed either but we have a new female character in this movie, who is named Ilsa Faust who is played by Rebecca Ferguson. We will have a new antagonist named Solomon Lane who is played by Sean Harris.

Will there be any new locations featured in Mission Impossible 8?

The new location is Paris, France and it will also have some locations from London. Europe is the main location in this movie. The movie was officially put on hold for a couple of years, now it has been greenlit! The movie will be released in June next year i.e. in 2024.

‘MISSION IMPOSSIBLE’ 7 & 8 are being planned to serve as a send-off to Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt, described as a culmination of the entire series.

Are you excited about the release of Mission Impossible 8?

I am really excited about this movie because it is going to be a good action-filled movie. This movie is going to have some amazing stunts and I am sure they will make it interesting and entertaining to watch! But, I am hoping that they make this movie as good as Mission Impossible 1 & 2.
