Vikings: Valhalla Season 3 has been renewed by Netflix. Some of the show’s cast members might return for the third season. Season one release dates have not been announced.
The filming and production works of season one are in progress. This Series tells the stories of some of the best-known Norsemen in history, including Leif Erikson, Freydis Eiriksdottir, Harald Hardrada, and William the Conqueror, a descendant of the Vikings.

Even before the release dates of season one of the Vikings: Valhalla series, Netflix renewed the series for the third season. The series starts after a century of the original series. It is unusual for Netflix to order these many episodes. But Netflix is certain about the love the series will get from the audience.

But we can be happy that season one might release in late 2021. The script of season two is already completed. Season three is underway with Dana Fainaru writing the first episode of season three.

What is the series all about?
A few years after Vikings, the end of the Viking Age draws near as England stands against them. After the death of King Edwards the Confessor, the English throne was claimed by three lords. Greenlanders have been crossing the North Atlantic under Leif Erikson’s leadership.
Despite being loyal to his family, Erik the Red does not get along with his father. His half-sister’s sexual assault by a Christian Viking has rendered her anti-Christian, and she leads the Old Norse religion against the rise of Christianity in Scandinavia, and she will arrive in Sweden in search of a new home.
As she falls for Christian Viking Torsen from a royal family, she is romantically attracted to him. In order to avenge the massacre, King Harald Hardrada is assembling a battalion under Torsen. The Anglo-Saxon tyrant is guided by his queen Alienor and her counselor Earl Colby.
Vikings creator Michael Hirst notes that the show’s time period is one in which “the Vikings have overrun most of England and own Normandy.”
Is the series worth watching?
It is a historical drama which is worth watching. Viewers interested in History are going to enjoy the series. Therefore, Netflix has ordered all three seasons for this reason.
