In Season Five Episode Four, Rick and Morty will be in a world where they can do anything that their minds can conjure up. They’ll live like kings of an empire with the power to manipulate space and time. But this universe is one big prison – all for them! So what’s going on here? And when does the next episode come out?

Rick and Morty are stuck inside a simulation of life after death; not only did they enter it willingly because they’re bored, but also because there was something really important down below waiting for them. The more time they spend in this new reality, the less sense any of it makes: there’s no indication if or how long “The Ricklantis Mixup” has been going on, and a lot of the major players are accompanying Rick in this new vision.

The last scene of “Ricklantis Mixup” is right before the credits roll: Morty has to save his sister from Jerry’s brainwashed friends who have kidnapped her (and opened up a giant portal/portal through which you can see The Citadel). It was an epic season finale that left us all wondering what will happen next?

The Ricklantis Mixup is the fourth episode of Season Five. There are still no official release dates or airtimes for this new episode, but we’re crossing our fingers and toes in hopes that it comes out as soon as possible!

When does it come out?

Rick and Morty Season 5, Episode 4 will premiere on Sunday, July 11. This one is titled “Rickdependence Spray”, and honestly?

Episode four of Season five will be about none other than our favorite mad scientist, Dr. Rick Sanchez himself! He’ll have a whole lot of explaining to do after his actions last season left the town of Pawnee (and some alternate dimensions) without their leader or government! Well, he might not want to take responsibility for his political puppeteering but that doesn’t mean he’s going down easily – as seen by an epic showdown between him and Councilman Jethro Burns at City Hall. That’s not all Rick will have to deal with, though!

The premiere episode of the season also sees Morty ask his sister Summer for help dealing with their parents’ marriage therapy-dropping bombshell. Jerry and Beth’s relationship has been on the rocky ground since before they even got married but it never reached this level in past seasons because Beth always had her work as a scientist to keep her busy. It’ll be interesting – if not quite heartwarming – to see these two get back that spark again.”

In Episode Four: “Rick And Morty Season Five Episode Three” There is no new information about when next season airs or what we should expect from it so far other than some world-building which may lead up to more episodes set in Pawnee happening in the future.
