‘Skywalker’ Actor Asks For The Director’s Cut After Fans Star Wars!!
Fans are not that impressed with the Star Wars: The rise of Skywalker because it is not providing that much as per the fan’s expectations. Everyone is demanding the release of a director’s cut of the movie. Water got above the head when fans made #ReleaseTheJJCut threading on Twitter
And now one of the actors started taking an interest in the topic. Dominic Monaghan, who has joined the Star War universe in “Rise of the Skywalker” as Beaumont Kin, a member of Resistance.
After all, he was told that he was not a significant part of the movie production as he said how much footage was shot but was not a part of the theatrical version of the movie.
In a short interview, he told The Hollywood Reporter this is why he’s entirely against the idea of an Abrams cut. As he told
However, when he was asked for more details about the director’s cut, not saying much, but he promised that there is many more which fans haven’t seen in the theatre. And he hopes that some cut can be seen in DVD/Blu-ray release in a few months.
‘Oh my God, I can’t wait to see that.!!
Director of the Star Wars thinks that it is such a geekfest, the obsessive thing that you don’t want to start revealing Easter eggs too soon. But, I remember texting J.J. at the end of specific days and saying, It was just extraordinary even just to be involved in that scene, and unfortunately, with the time constraints, they didn’t make it, or they changed things around.
Dominic Monaghan has a thought that the J.J Abrams cut if included can make Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker a superior version of itself.
