Spain’s naval rescue service told that on Thursday, approximately 100 migrants were rescued off the Shore of Spain, including around another 200 plucked off alternative boats on the day of Christmas.

According to a source, more than half of them were discovered the Costa Blanca on Spain’s southeastern shore, with 10 people Saved just before morning, amid them eight men, a kid and a lady.

Later, rescuers saved 16 men off a boat close to Torrevieja in the morning, but more 12 people were saved from a dinghy off Xabia, some 45 kilometers up the shore from Benidorm.

Furthermore, on Spain’s southern shore, 17 men were got in waters off Cabo de Gata near Almeria but another man was seen hovering on what rescuers defined as ‘an inflatable toy craft’ in the Motril state, with his pal froze sunk.

The representative told that more 39 people approached the coast at Punta Jandia on the southwestern point of Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands. There were no instant details on the citizens of those saved.

Around 200 others were saved on the day of Christmas in order to separate operations off the shore of Spain and Morocco.

Spain’s coastguard told that nearly 120 of them were taken up encompassing the Zaffarin reefs off Morocco and the small islet of Alboran.

Many other lifeboats were discovered the southeastern shore of Spain, off Gibraltar and nearby the Canary Islands.

The UN’s International Organization for Migration told in a statement on December 20, this year, at least 1,250 men, ladies and kids have perished trying to reach Europe through the Mediterranean.
