Lost in Space may sound like one of Netflix’s gems, but the program has found something special that distinguishes it from the abundance of great Netflix shows. The adaptation of a film of the same name, about 20 years ago, is about the space adventures of the Robinson family. The family was to colonize a planetary system located near Earth but eventually merged into a deeper unknown location. This is what we can gather about Lost in Space Season 2 so far.

New Place Of Residence

Much of CGI’s work is directed to Lost in Space Production, but the locations of the filming have given clues about what we might see in the next season’s home: bodies of water. The film crew of Lost in Space received a permit to film in Iceland, especially in a waterfall and a beach area. It also makes sense to look at the lives of other animals on this planet or of creatures such as dinosaurs, something that could pose another threat to the Robinson Family.

Casting

We lost many characters during the first season. Until the season ended, John, Maureen, Judy, Penny, Will, Smith, Don and, of course, the only remaining characters were robots. We are pretty sure that there is the possibility of introducing some new characters in that season 2. The first Character is a young mechanical supervisor named Ava. If he is a friend or a villain it is still unclear. The second character that appears in season 2 is about a Jiang commander.

We also learned that one of the actresses invited on the show, Sibongile Mlambo, was promoted to the regular series for season 2. This means that Angela will have more time in front of the screen. The same goes for the true Dr. Smith character. Actor Bill Mumi is expected to make more appearances as well. It has also been suggested that other actors in the original films can make cameos just like Mumi.

Crazy Writing

We can thank co-creators Burke Sharpless and Matt Sajama for the wonderful story they saw from season 1. Both writers will definitely return for season 2, and they already know where the show is heading. We are leaning on the latter since he had already said that season 2 will become very wild.

The Plot

Speaking of crazy writing, details about the plot have not yet been published. But we really know how the first season ended, so the options for the Robinson family are really low. Robinson actually only has a few options. They can try Alpha Centauri and reconnect with all the other colonizers who have lost with touch, or they can discover something else in the new galaxy that they themselves have lost. Logically, this makes sense to the family. Do a deeper exploration, since it is about the show.

Galaxy Robot

We saw robots fighting other robots early in the season. We are in the robot galaxy. Get ready to see more robots, good and bad, and get ready to take more advantage of the robot’s backstory. I’m pretty sure Robinson will know a lot about robots next season, and we probably won’t be like some of them. We can probably expect more robot discoveries in the robot galaxy. You know what? Maybe Robinson finds another robot to make friends with. So we will definitely get more information about human-robot relationships.
