This can still be seen all over the web. When you get a Domain name and website, you get webhosting. Pretty much all webhosting includes, or at least should include, domain name e-mail. We very much for the past twenty plus years always recommend not using free generic Email. When you get webhosting, use domain name email, ALWAYS! If you spend money on registering a domain name and develop or even get someone to develop a website, use domain name email.

Part of the overall aspects of any web presence is branding. Use your logo, use your domain name, use every resource you have access to use. Include branding even in offline activities, brand your business cards. Brand your email, use your domain name. As we and many others will tell you, and you even know this yourself…. Would you rather spend money on a particular product or service from [email protected] or would you rather purchase the exact same product or service from yourproduct@the company domain.com? Pretty much the domain name contact will win out as preferred provider.

Domain name email is quite easy to set up, we can even PM you with instructions. Your webmaster, if not you, should include this and should strongly advise that you do this.

• log into your control panel
• look for email accounts listing
• there should be an option to add a new email
• simply fill in your user name, and password
• probably have to repeat to confirm password
• save

And there you have it, you should even be able to access web based email from your.com/webmail. If this does not work for your particular hosting then contact you provider for more specific instructions.

If you are just starting out then yes, use Generic Email for such as online surveys, but, when you get a domain name get domain name email!
