August 23, the cycle of concerts of the Ancient Music of the Pyrenees-2018 will be ended (El Festival de Música Antiga dels Pirineus, FeMAP).

The concert will take place at 21.30 in the l’Artalroc Exhibition center. Hirundo Maris, Arianna Savall and Petter U. Johansen perform the “La rosa dels vents”. It will be a musical journey through geography and time with traditional Sephardic, Catalan, Spanish, Celtic and Norwegian melodies.

The concert is timed to the exhibition “Geometry of color” by American artist Alexander Calder – one of the most important American sculptors of the XX century. He is best known for his colorful, whimsical abstract public sculptures and his innovative mobiles, kinetic sculptures powered by motors or air currents, which embraced chance in their aesthetic.

The exhibition is open until 19.00

The concert is a part of the program of events “Summer Nights” at Andorran museums.
