LOS ANGELES (UPI/PWInsider) — According to PWInsider, actor Bradley Cooper is being eyed to portray World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) chairman and CEO Vince McMahon in an upcoming biopic entitled Pandemonium. Cooper has yet to made a decision. The Sony Pictures and WWE Studios project is slated to be directed by John Requa and Glenn Ficarra based on a script written by Craig A. Williams. The story follows the life and times of McMahon as he builds a professional wrestling empire.
Cooper is currently attached to a number of films including Avengers: Infinity War, underwater thriller Deeper and his directorial debut in A Star is Born with Lady Gaga.
In another story, WWE Superstar John Cena hinted as being interested in portraying McMahon in the upcoming film.

ORLANDO — In additional wrestling news, WWE’s Johnny Gargano from the company’s NXT territory thanked 2K Sports for his inclusion to the roster for their upcoming video game WWE 2K18, set to release in stores later this month.
Raw Tag Team champion Seth Rollins is on the cover of this year’s edition and in addition to Gargano being a playable character, AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Vince McMahon, Kurt Angle, Ric Flair, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, Sting and Jake “The Snake” Roberts will also be playable characters.
WWE 2K18 is set to launch for the Xbox One and Playstation 4 on October 17.

LOS ANGELES — Paramount Pictures is moving forward with a sequel to hit 1988 comedy Coming to America with director Jonathan Levine and Black-ish creator Kenya Barris. Barris wrote the script as a rewritten screenplay originally written by writers Barry Blaustein and David Sheffield, with Kevin Misher producing, according to a report from Variety.
Eddie Murphy, who played the lead role in the original film directed by John Landis, will be involved in the development of the sequel, but has not officially signed on to star, according to a report from The Hollywood Reporter.
