Code found in tvOS 17 indicates that Apple is in the process of rewriting Apple Music and Apple Podcasts to be compatible with the screen. This would allow the display to showcase a blurred animation based on the colors of the album artwork when playing a song or podcast. Additionally, important notifications could potentially be shown.
Industry insiders had previously hinted at Apple’s plans to introduce HomePods with displays and cameras.
