Sintex Industries falls after defaulting in payment of interest amount on NCDs

Sintex Industries is currently trading at Rs. 1.37, down by 0.07 points or 4.86% from its previous closing of Rs. 1.44 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1.37 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1.37 and Rs. 1.37 respectively. So far 281982 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘B’ stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 13.25 on 28-Nov-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1.37 on 10-Oct-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1.63 and Rs. 1.37 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 81.39 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 28.61%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 5.35% and 66.04% respectively.

Sintex Industries has defaulted in payment of interest amount on Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs). The default interest amount is Rs 5.92 crore. The gross principal amount on which the default above has occurred is Rs 250 crore.
