Meanwhile Governor Satya Pal Malik is focusing on development of the state. He said that the government is working for the welfare of every citizen. He also appealed to citizens  not to pay attention to any rumors emphasizing that the situation in the state is normal.

Rapid political developments can be seen in Jammu & Kashmir. Addressing a gathering National General Secretary of BJP Ram Madhav attacked separatists and political families for the current situation in the state.

On Wednesday, the chief electoral officer of Jammu and Kashmir, Shailendra Kumar called for a meeting with 22 district election officers on Friday. They will review the verification of electors, changes in voter details and overall revision and sanitization of electoral rolls for the assembly polls that may be held later this year.
