“I was asked to attend this Office related to RC 4 case and I attended the office and cooperated with the investigation and now I am going back to Kolkata,” informed Ghosh after coming out of the CBI office.

He appeared before the CBI as was directed by the Supreme Court recently.

During the course of his two-day interrogation, Ghosh also had hours of joint confrontational session with the Kolkata Police Commissioner.

It may be mentioned that Kumar, who was heading the Special Investigation Team probing into the Saradha chit fund scam, had arrested Ghosh in 2013.

Ghosh had written to the PMO office alleging Kumar of not carrying out the investigation in the right earnest.

Asked about the joint confrontational session, Ghosh refused to divulge much. He however said, “I don’t want to say anything regarding investigation, but I participated in the confrontational session with Rajeev Kumar.”

Meanwhile, the questioning of the Kolkata Police Commissioner will continue , the fourth consecutive day.
