NEW DELHI: Virat Kohli might be away celebrating his new innings with wife Anushka Sharma, but stand-in skipper Rohit Sharma, who scored his third ODI double century, had a word of advice for the newly-wed couple.

Rohit, Man of the Match for his knock of 208 against Sri Lanka in Mohali on Wednesday, tweeted this: “Congratulations you two! @imVkohli, I’ll share the husband handbook with you. @AnushkaSharma, keep the surname.”

Following their wedding on December 11 in Italy, Virat and Anushka are reportedly on their honeymoon, and while Kohli is yet to reply to his team-mate, Anushka thanked Rohit after a two-day gap.

Anushka tweeted: “Hahaha thanks, Rohit!And congratulations on your splendid innings.”

Rohit led from the front with a scintillating double century as India went on to win the second ODI by 141 runs to level the three match series 1-1. The third ODI will be played at Visakhapatnam on Sunday.
