The gang was notoriously known as Ghorasan gang as the members hail from Ghorasan town and nearby areas east of Champran district in Bihar.
During a press meet, Kota SP Anshuman Bhomia told the mediapersons that senior police officials of Kota range took a serious note on the three incidents of burglary under Gumanpura and Dadabari police stations areas of the city last month.
On November 13, unidentified burglars made away with about 32 costly Android mobile phones from an Oppo showroom on Rawatbhatta road. Around the same time and in a similar manner, over Rs 80,000 cash was stolen from a shop at Kotari Circle under Dadabari police station area, he said.
Two police teams headed by sub inspector Anand Yadav and technical expert Pratap Singh were formed to probe the incidents. Following the investigation, police busted the gang.
