Centre setting up 31-member panel to advise it on implementing RERA

NEW DELHI: In yet another move to ensure home buyers’ interests are protected and better implementation of the real estate regulation law or Rera, the Centre has started the process of setting up of the Central Advisory Council.

The 31-member committee will include secretaries from ministries, representatives from state departments, flat buyers associations and construction workers advisory committee.

Sources said it will also have members from the builders’ association besides a representative of Namma Bengaluru Foundation.
