The Tecno Camon 30 series smartphones are official. Tecno has expanded its Camon smartphone series with the launch of the Tecno Camon 30 and Camon 30 Premier smartphones in the Indian market. Both the smartphones run Android 14 and the duo also packs a 5000mAh battery.

Price and availability
The Techno Cayman is available in two variants – 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB, priced at Rs 22,999 and Rs 26,999 respectively. On the other hand, Tecno Camon Premier 5G is priced at Rs 39,999. Both will go on sale in India from May 23. As part of the introductory offer, the company is also offering an instant discount of Rs 3,000 at select banks.
Tecno Camon 30, Camon 30 Premier Specifications
The Tecno Camon 30 has a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2436 pixels. On the other hand, Camon Premier 30 has a 6.77-inch display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
The Camon 30 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset, while the Camon Premier 30 is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor. Both smartphones run on Android 14 operating system.
The twins are IP53 rated and therefore resistant to dust and water. The smartphones are equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 70W fast charging.
For imaging duties, the Tecno Camon 30 has a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. There’s also a 50MP front-facing camera for selfies. The Tecno Camon 30 Premier comes with a 50MP primary camera and a 50MP ultra-wide angle lens. There is also a 50MP front-facing camera.
