Earlier this week, Apple introduced the iPad Pro (2024) model with a new proprietary M4 chipset. The tablet follows the iPad Pro (2022) model with M2 chips. The newly launched iPad Pro of the Cupertino technology company is available in two display sizes and four storage options. An iPad Pro with an M4 chip recently surfaced on a benchmarking site, and the results show it to be significantly faster than the older iPad Pro model and some existing MacBook models.

An iPad Pro (2024) with an M4 chipset and 16GB of RAM has been spotted on Geekbench. This can be seen from the single-core score of 3810 points and the multi-core score of 14541 points. According to MySmartPrice, the 10-core 4.4GHz M4 chip is 25 percent faster than the previous M3 processor.

According to the report, the previous iPad Pro (2022) model equipped with the M2 chipset achieved 2,444 and 9,256 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. The iPad Pro (2024) model with the M4 chip showed an increase of 55.89 percent and 57.10 percent in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively, which indicates a significant increase in performance of the new tablet compared to the older model.

Another Geekbench test for the 16GB iPad Pro M4 (2024) shows single-core and multi-core scores of 3767 and 14677, respectively. Gizmosina reports that this is a significant improvement over the results of the 14-inch MacBook Pro model with the 11-core M3 Pro chipset. The MacBook model can be found on Geekbench.

Notably, the iPad Pro (2024) costs Rs 99,900 in India for the base 11-inch Wi-Fi variant with just 256GB of storage. The tablet is available in 512GB, 1TB and 2TB capacities and a 13-inch display. Available in silver and pitch black.
