Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Mix Flip are expected to be officially announced later this year as the Chinese tech brand’s next-generation foldable smartphones. A new leak reveals the camera specifications of Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Mix Flip. This camera is said to have a 50-megapixel main camera with a telephoto sensor. This foldable device is designed to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

Tipster Digital Chat Station claimed on Weibo (translated from Chinese) that Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Mix Flip will be officially launched in the third quarter of this year. This launch time is comparable to the previous launch time of the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3, which was launched in August 2023. These devices are said to use the 3rd generation Snapdragon 8 chipset under the hood. Both smartphones are said to have a lightweight design and similar camera specifications.

Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Mix Flip have a 50-megapixel main sensor with a 1/1.55-inch sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS), as well as an Omnivision OV60A 2x telephoto sensor with a size of 1/2.8-inch have a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 10-megapixel periscope telephoto sensor with 5x zoom. It should also be IP certified and support wireless charging.

According to information so far, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 will be limited to China. In contrast, MixFlip will be available in China and other global markets except India and Japan.

The Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 is said to be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging. The Xiaomi Mix Flip is expected to come with a 1.5K display.
