Google Pixel 8a has been officially launched in India and like its other smartphones, the company has packed a host of AI-powered features in its most affordable Pixel 8 series device. The smartphone is powered by the Google Tensor G3 SoC, the same chipset that handles AI duties in the flagship Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel 8.

• Best Take: Best Take was introduced in the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro series smartphones to customize group photos. This feature takes multiple photos taken with the same settings and allows users to choose the best exposure for everyone in the photo. The user taps the desired sentence from the options provided by the smartphone.

• Magic Editor: Magic Editor allows users to change the position and size of subjects and use presets to create the background over them. Photos must be backed up before they can be used, and Google uses artificial intelligence to fill in the gaps left after deleting or rearranging subjects.

• Audio Magic Eraser: Audio Magic Eraser allows you to edit the audio of your videos by removing distracting noises such as wind, noise and other noises for crisp and clear audio output. For example, if you are blogging on a busy street at Chandni Chowk, you can use Audio Magic Eraser to highlight your voice and reduce the chatter of people around you.

• Pixel 8a also features up to 8x high-resolution zoom. Multiple machine learning algorithms help zoom at super resolution, align and combine images from multiple cameras to deliver crisp results.
