iQoo Z9 Turbo, Iqoo Z9 and iQoo Z9x were launched in China on Wednesday (April 24). The new Z series smartphones from the Vivo sub-brand feature a 50-megapixel rear camera sensor, come in a variety of colors and are powered by Snapdragon chipsets. The iQoo Z9 Turbo and iQoo Z9x have a 6.78-inch display with a variable refresh rate of 144 Hz, while the iQoo Z9x has a 6.72-inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. All three phones have a 6000mAh battery. The iQoo Z9 Turbo and iQoo Z9 support 80W fast charging, while the entry-level iQoo Z9x supports 44W fast charging.

The price of the iQoo Z9 Turbo starts at RMB 1,999 (approximately Rs 23,000) for the 12GB + 256GB model. 16GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 512GB are priced at CNY 2,299 (approximately Rs. 26,000), CNY 2,399 (approximately Rs. 28,120) and CNY 2,590 (approximately Rs. 2,590) respectively.

The iQoo Z9 starts at RMB 1,499 (around Rs 17,000) for the 8GB + 128GB model. On the other hand, 8GB + 256GB costs CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs. 18,700) and 12GB + 256GB costs CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs. 20,000). The high-end 12GB + 512GB model can be purchased for 1,999 yuan (approximately Rs. 23,000). The iQoo Z9 and iQoo Z9 Turbo are available in Dark Night, Mountain Green and Starburst White (translated from Chinese).

The price of the iQoo Z9x starts at RMB 1,299 (approximately Rs. 15,000) for the 8GB + 128GB variant. It is available in Dark Night, Feng Yuqing and Starburst White (translated from Chinese) color options.

The display of the Huaxing C8 has a screen-to-body ratio of 91.90 percent. The iQoo Z9 Turbo is the most premium model in the new line and is powered by a 3rd generation Snapdragon 8s chipset with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. In contrast, the iQoo Z9 uses a 3rd generation Snapdragon 7 processor coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

Both models have dual rear cameras and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The iQoo Z9 Turbo features a new 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens on the back. The iQoo Z9 has the same 50MP Sony LYT 600 sensor and a 2MP depth sensor on the back.

Connectivity options on the iQoo Z9 and iQoo Z9 Turbo include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, Beidou, GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, NFC and a USB Type-C port. Integrated sensors include an electronic compass, gravity sensor, light sensor, gyroscope, infrared remote control, X-axis linear motor and proximity sensor. This phone has an under-display fingerprint sensor and also offers facial recognition.

The iQoo Z9x is an affordable entry into the new series that combines the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS2.2 storage. These SIM card and software specifications are similar to iQoo Z9 and Z9 Turbo. It has a 6.72-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.

Optically, the iQoo Z9x features a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel AI image stabilization lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It has an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video chat. The connectivity options are the same as other iQoo Z9 series phones and the sensors are similar. It also has an under-display fingerprint scanner and supports face unlock.

The iQoo Z9x is powered by a 6,000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. According to iQoo, the dimensions of this phone are 165 x 70 x 7.99 mm and its weight is 199 grams.
