Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro were launched in India in January with the all-new MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC. Vivo has no plans to launch the Vivo X100 Ultra, which is expected to be joined by the Vivo X100s and Vivo X100s Pro.

One of China’s leading tipsters, a digital chat station, claimed on Weibo that the Vivo X100 Ultra will be the first smartphone to come with Vivo’s Proprietary Blueimage Imaging technology. Little is currently known about imaging technology.

The tipster claims that Vivo has renewed its deal with Zeiss and suggests that several new smartphones will be launched with optics from the German camera company Zeiss.Another report posted by a tipster suggests that the Vivo X100s Pro and Vivo X100s will launch together. They are expected to arrive in China in May. However, the exact release date is still being kept under wraps.

The Vivo is rumored to come with a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens and a Samsung S5KHP9 sensor with telephoto and ultra-wide-angle lenses.

According to previous leaks, the Vivo X100 Ultra will feature an E7 AMOLED display with a QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

This could be the first Vivo smartphone to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Meanwhile, the Vivo X100s and Vivo X100s Pro are expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC.
