OnePlus Tipped to Be Working on Foldable Flip Phone With Flagship Camera Feature

OnePlus may be working on a foldable flip Phone equipped with a camera that is usually found in flagship smartphones. According to a Chinese tipster, Oppo and OnePlus may release new smartphones with telephoto and macro cameras.

While the former has already launched a clamshell foldable phone with these camera features, OnePlus may launch a similar phone to compete with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip phones and Motorola Razr foldable phones.

A tipster nicknamed “Smart Pikachu” (translated from Chinese) claims in a Weibo post that Oppo is working on a smartphone with a telephoto and macro camera. The tipster also claims that the OnePlus flagship will also be equipped with the same camera. Neither company has yet announced the release of new clamshell-like foldable phones.

OnePlus has only released one foldable phone so far – the OnePlus Open. This is the updated version of Oppo Find N3. If Oppo decides to release the Find N5 Flip – rumored to be the successor to the Find N3 Flip – OnePlus could release a Foldable Flip Phone with similar specs. This phone can compete with Motorola or Samsung phones.

Launched in India last October, Oppo Find N3 Flip runs Android 13 ColorOS 13 operating system. It has a 6.8-inch internal LTPO AMOLED display and a 3.26-inch external AMOLED display.

The Find N3 Flip is the only clamshell foldable phone with three rear cameras, which includes a 50-megapixel main camera, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 332-megapixel camera. Telephoto lens. The phone also packs a 4,300mAh battery that supports 44W SuperVOOC charging.
