Samsung One UI 6.1 with Galaxy AI capabilities debuted on the Galaxy S24 series in January. The South Korean smartphone manufacturer started updating the Galaxy S23 family at the end of March. Samsung has announced that it will release the update for some other older devices. In 2022, a special skin based on Android 14 will appear on flagship Samsung smartphones and Galaxy tablets. The Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 series have been confirmed to receive the One UI 6.1 update.

In a post on Samsung Newsroom on Monday, the company announced that all of its 2022 flagship devices will receive Galaxy AI features starting next month with UI 6.1. The Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 series smartphones will have access to some of the company’s artificial intelligence features. The Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+ and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra have also been confirmed to receive the update.
According to Samsung, the rollout will begin in early May, and the company also revealed which Galaxy AI features will be available for the Galaxy S22 and other devices. Google Search, Chat Help, Translate, Live Translation, Notes Help, Transcription Help, View Help, Creative Editing, Editing Suggestions and AI generated wallpapers.
Powered by artificial intelligence, Circle to Search allows users to perform visual and text searches on Google without switching apps. Live Translation provides two-way voice and text translation of telephone conversations in real time. Chat Assist helps users communicate in different languages, and Notes Help helps organize tasks.
The One UI 6.1 update was released in January along with the launch of the Galaxy S24 series. The unique Android skin was released at the end of March for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Tab S9 series. Samsung is rumored to release One UI 6.1 and Galaxy AI features on some devices, including the Galaxy S21 series, starting in 2021.
