It has been confirmed that the iQoo Z9 series will be officially launched in China on April 24th. The Vivo sub-brand only mentions the iQoo Z9 and the iQoo Z9 Turbo, but recent reports suggest that the upcoming lineup might also include the iQoo Z9x. Just a week ahead of the official launch, a well-informed source has revealed the key specifications of the iQoo Z9 series smartphone.
All three phones are said to have dual rear cameras and 80W fast charging support. The iQoo Z9x is expected to run on a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, while the iQoo Z9 Turbo already ships with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.
Tipster Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24) in collaboration with 91Mobiles has revealed the specifications of iQoo Z9 Turbo, iQoo Z9 and iQoo Z9x. According to the report, the iQoo Z9x could come with a 6.72-inch 120Hz LCD display, while the iQoo Z9 and iQoo Z9 Turbo may come with a 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED panel are equipped.
All three models are said to have dual rear cameras with a 50-megapixel primary sensor. The iQoo Z9 and iQoo Z9x are expected to come with a 2-megapixel portrait sensor, while the iQoo Z9 Turbo is likely to come with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The iQoo Z9x may come with an 8-megapixel selfie camera while the vanilla iQoo Z9 and Turbo variant may come with a 16-megapixel front camera.
iQoo has already confirmed that the iQoo Z9 Turbo will run on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. The source claims that the iQoo Z9x will come with a Snapdragon 6 Generation 1 chip. The iQoo Z9 is expected to come with the Snapdragon 7 Generation 3 chip. The Indian version of the iQoo Z9 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 5G SoC.
iQoo Z9x and Vanilla iQoo Z9 can be equipped with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 internal storage. In contrast, the iQoo Turbo has LPDDR5X RAM and internal UFS 4.0 storage.
The iQoo Z9 Turbo has already been confirmed to be powered by a 6000mAh battery. The leak suggests that the other two phones in the iQoo Z9 series also require the same battery. The iQoo Z9 Turbo and iQoo Z9 are said to support 80W fast charging, while the iQoo Z9x can charge at up to 40W.
iQoo has already announced that the iQoo Z9 and iQoo Z9 Turbo will launch in China on April 24th at 7:00 p.m. local time (4:30 p.m. local time). The standard iQoo Z9 5G was launched in India last month at a price of Rs 20 million. 19,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model.
