Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, Edge 50 Fusion and Edge 50 Pro are expected to launch in international markets on April 16. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Motorola announced that its upcoming Edge 50 series smartphones will come with 125W TurboPower fast charging. For some reason, the company is still keeping its name secret, but it is clear that the device under discussion is the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra.

The teaser video gives us a first look at the design of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra. This product comes in a peach color with a punched display and curved sides. It appears to feature a triple rear camera unit led by a 50-megapixel main sensor that supports OIS (optical image stabilization).

Motorola has already confirmed that the Edge 50 Ultra will come with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. A recent Geekbench listing also shows that the device runs Android 14 and offers up to 12GB of RAM. On Geekbench, it scored 1947 points in the single-core test and 5149 points in the multi-core test.

According to previously leaked information, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. The phone can be equipped with a 50MP front camera and a 4500mAh battery that supports 50W wireless charging.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will launch in the US as the Motorola Edge+ 2024 or Edge Ultra 2024 for $999 (approximately Rs. 83,000).

The Motorola Edge 50 series includes three entries: the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion and the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, which launches globally on April 16. Motorola Edge 50 Pro with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 is now available in India. The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is expected to use a 1st generation Snapdragon 6 processor.
