Some exciting off-road models are in the pipeline as India looks forward to more practical versions of two of the country’s most popular 4×4 SUVs. To create similar hype, Force Motors has released a Teaser of the upcoming Gurkha Panj, which is expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks.

Details are not yet known, but a teaser video confirms that the Gurkha will retain its boxy shape and circular LED headlights. In addition, changes were made to the design of the bumpers on both sides.

While there won’t be any major changes to the five-door Gurkha’s appearance, one can expect changes to the side profile, including a longer wheelbase to accommodate the additional doors. In addition, the teaser also introduces a new design of the aluminum wheels.

The biggest change compared to the Gurkha 3 is probably the interior. The off-road focus will definitely remain, but there will likely be upgrades to improve passenger comfort and convenience. However, nothing has been confirmed by Force Motors in this regard and it remains to be seen whether this will happen or not.

The launch of the Force Gurkha 5 intensifies competition in the off-road SUV segment in India. Additionally, the Gurkha’s rival, the popular Mahindra Thar, is also gearing up to launch with a new, more functional five-door avatar later this year.
