Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will be officially launched alongside the Edge Fusion and Edge 50 Pro at the Motorola Global Event on April 16th. Ahead of the launch, the phone appeared on benchmarking website Geekbench and scored impressive results. This list refers to some of the hardware features of this phone. The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is powered by the recently announced 3rd generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s chipset paired with 12GB of RAM.

The Geekbench listing for the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra with 12GB RAM shows the phone running Android 14. In terms of benchmark performance, the smartphone achieves a single-core CPU score of 1947 and a multi-core CPU score of 5149. These could be the first performance results of a prototype phone. To know the exact benchmark performance results we will have to wait for the official announcement of the terminal.

For the SoC, the list suggests high-performance cores with a maximum clock speed of 3.01 GHz, 4 cores with up to 2.80 GHz and up to 3 cores with 2.02 GHz. These CPU speeds are associated with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.

Motorola will unveil the entire Edge 50 series for global markets on April 16. The series will include at least three models: Motorola Edge 50 Pro, Motorola Edge 50 Fusion and Motorola Edge 50 Ultra. The former was launched in India earlier this month at a starting price of Rs 1 lakh. 31,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM variant with a 68W charger.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will launch in the US as Motorola Edge+ 2024 or Edge Ultra 2024. The phone is said to come with a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor. This phone is likely to come with a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a 165Hz refresh rate.
