Realme 12x Smartphone is here. Chinese smartphone maker Realme has expanded its 12 smartphone series with the launch of the Realme 12x in India. The smartphone, which is the successor to the Realme 11x launched last year, supports 45W SUPER VOOC fast charging and is powered by a MediaTek chipset. This smartphone is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera and features a waterproof design.
Price and availability
The Realme 12x is available in two variants – 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB, priced at Rs 11,999 and Rs 13,499 respectively. The smartphone is available in Twilight Purple and Forest Green colors. The smartphone will be available from April 2nd. The smartphone is available online on Flipkart and realme.com. As part of the introductory offer, the company is offering a discount of Rs 1,000 on ICICI, SBI and HDFC bank cards.
Realme 12x specifications
Realme 12x features a 6.72-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display offers a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of up to 950 nits.
Realme’s budget smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 5G chipset. The company also claims that the Realme 12x is the first 5G smartphone in this segment to feature an advanced vapor chamber cooling system, which is beneficial for gaming users and overall usage experience. Equipped with “5G Low Power Smart Hotspot” technology, users can use the high-speed 5GHz band to share the powerful 5G network with their neighbors.
Realme 12x comes in two variants: 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB. By installing a microSD card, users can further increase the storage space. The smartphone runs on Android 14 with the company’s own Realme UI layer on top.

In 50 megapixel mode, you can take high-resolution photos up to 8160 x 6144 pixels. The device has a night vision mode for taking photos in low light.
