Realme 12X 5G was launched in India on Tuesday, April 2nd. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC and packs a 5,000mAh battery with SuperVOOC fast charging support. It has a Dual Rear Camera system and features like dynamic buttons, air gestures and Mini Capsule 2.0. This phone will go on sale in this city later this month and will be available in three RAM options and two colors. It is worth noting that this phone was first launched in China in March this year.
Realme 12X 5G Price, Availability in India
The Realme 12X 5G 4GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 20 lakh in India. The 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB variants are priced at Rs 11,999. 13,499 Rs 14,999 each. The smartphone can be purchased on Flipkart and Realme India websites.
Although the company has not confirmed the launch date of the device, it has announced that the Realme 12X 5G will be available for early bird sales on April 2 from 6pm to 8pm IST. 4, 6 and 8 GB versions are available for ¥2,000. 10,999 Rs 11,999 Rs 13,999 each during the sale period.
Realme 12X 5G will be available in two colors in India: Twilight Purple and Forest Green.
Realme 12X 5G Specifications, Features
The Realme 12X 5G features a 6.72-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 950 nits. The device supports a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chip with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. The phone comes with Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14.
Visually, the Realme 12X 5G features a dual rear camera system that includes a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The front camera is located in the central hole above the display and houses an 8 megapixel sensor.
The Realme 12X 5G is equipped with dynamic keys, which were also recently seen on the Realme 12 5G model. This feature can be used as a hotkey to switch between different functions like Airplane and DND, or operate things like camera shutter and flashlight. The phone also supports the Air Gesture feature, which is also present in the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G, offering users a touchless experience. It also features Mini Capsule 2.0, which displays the user’s contact, charging and other important alerts with animations around a hole on the display.
Realme has packed a 5,000mAh battery in the Realme 12X 5G that supports 45W SuperVOOC wired charging. This phone has dual stereo speakers, a 3.5mm audio jack and a fingerprint scanner. It also supports dual 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 5.3 and USB Type-C. The phone is also IP54 dust and splash proof. Its weight is 188 grams and its dimensions are 165.6 x 76.1 x 7.69 mm.
