Realme 12X 5G was recently launched in China with a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC and a 5000mAh battery that supports 15W wired charging. The launch of the model in India has already been confirmed and the company has announced the launch date. Realme also talked about some of the features of the phone. The Indian version will have some differences compared to the Chinese one. However, the design is similar to the global version of the Realme 12X 5G.

The Realme 12X 5G will launch in India on April 2 at 12:00 p.m., the company confirmed in a press release. The phone will be available through Flipkart and the Realme India website. The Indian version of the Realme 12X 5G will be available in green and purple colors. It has the signature large round rear camera module found on all current Realme 12 series phones.

Realme 12X 5G confirmed to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC in India. The company also said the phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W SuperVOOC wired charging, which is said to charge the phone from zero to 50 percent in less than 30 minutes.

The company also announced that the Realme 12X 5G will launch in India with dynamic buttons, just like the Realme 12 5G. It acts as a hotkey to switch between different modes like Airplane and Do Not Disturb, and activates the camera shutter, flashlight, and more. The Air Gestures feature also appears in the recently launched Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G.

In China, the Realme 12X 5G comes with a 50-megapixel dual rear camera with LED flash, an 8-megapixel selfie camera, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. It comes with Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 and is priced from CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 17,000) for the base 12GB + 256GB variant, while the 12GB + 512GB variant is priced at CNY 1,790 (roughly Rs. 00,000).
