Jaipur : The Officers Training Academy, St Thomas Mount, Chennai is set to host a historic event, the long-awaited Silver Jubilee Reunion of the distinguished Army Courses SSC-61, SSC (Tech) – 04, and WSES-07 from 22-25th March 2024.

Originally slated for 09 Mar 2021, the reunion was postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions at the time and is now rescheduled to take place from 22nd to 25th March 2024 at Chennai. This Silver Jubilee Reunion is not merely a gathering; it is a testament to the enduring bonds forged in Officer’s Training Academy. It is an opportunity for the alumni of SSC-61, SSC (Tech) – 04, and WSES(O)-07 to reconnect, strengthen friendships, and renew their commitment to the values of honour, duty, and sacrifice.

Former comrades, both serving and retired now scattered across the globe, are gathering at their alma mater in Chennai on 23rd March 2024 to reminisce, share stories, and honour the memories of their time at the Officers Training Academy, known for its rigorous training and being the second toughest Military Academy in the world. The event is being attended by over 80 male and female officers along with their families for a three-day celebration.

The reunion’s itinerary includes a wreath-laying ceremony at the academy’s Temple of Remembrance, and a nostalgic walk down memory lane with a guided tour of the academy grounds and Alumni dinner. A solemn event will also be held to honour the Next of Kin of their comrades who laid down their lives in the service of the nation.

Over the past 28 years, the alumni of Army Courses SSC-61, SSC (Tech) – 04, and WSES(O) -07 have demonstrated significant contributions to the defence forces, both nationally and internationally. Their unwavering commitment to duty and the values instilled during their formative years at the academy have shaped them into leaders of distinction.
