Poco C61 could launch in India soon. More details about the device, including design Renders, key features, RAM and storage variants, and expected price, have leaked online. The Phone is touted to be a rebranded version of the Redmi A3 that was launched in India in February this year. Therefore, this phone is likely to have the same specifications as the Redmi model. The rumored smartphone is said to be the successor to the Poco C51, which was launched in the country in April 2023.
The leaked renders of the Poco C61 were shared by Appuals. Like the Redmi A3, the phone comes in black, blue and green colors and features a large circular rear camera module. According to the report, Poco’s upcoming phone will be available in 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB variants and is expected to be priced at Rs 1 million. 7,499 Rs 8,499 each.
The renders show the front of the phone with a teardrop-shaped cutout in the middle of the front camera. Poco C61 has narrow side bezels and a relatively thick chin. The volume button and power button are located on the right edge of the phone. The SIM card slot is on the left edge, while the USB-C charging port and microphone are on the bottom edge. On the top edge you can see the speaker grille and the 3.5mm audio jack.
The Poco C61 features a 6.71-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 500 nits maximum brightness, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device is reportedly powered by a MediaTek Helio G36 SoC with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The phone has a fingerprint sensor on the side for biometric authentication.
Visually, the Poco C61 could feature an 8-megapixel primary sensor, a 0.08-megapixel secondary sensor on the back, and a 5-megapixel front sensor. The device is said to be powered by a 5000mAh battery with 10W wired charging support.
The Redmi A3 was recently launched in India priced at $500. The 3GB + 64GB variant is priced at Rs 7,299, while the 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB variants are priced at Rs 7,299. 8299 each Rs 9299. Available in Midnight Black, Sea Blue and Olive Green shades. These are similar to the color options seen in the leaked Poco C61 renders.
